The annual SAAF Museum Air Show has been scheduled and has been approved to take place on 9 May 2015.  This Air Show has proved to be a favourite on the annual Air Show calendar and has been awarded the Best South African Air Show for 2011, 2012 and third position in 2013, 2014 by the Aero Club of South Africa.  The Air Show is known to attract up to 35 000 spectators and is a not to miss event for aviation enthusiasts.  We present a family atmosphere and costs are therefore kept affordable to promote attendance. The Museum Air Show remains the favoured event to attend and we are fortunate that most of the pilots and local airlines that participate in the annual Air Show attend and display their aircraft at no cost to the Museum.  We have a strong contingent of present serving SAAF aircraft featuring in our Air Show programme.

The Museum is also using this opportunity to celebrate noteworthy achievements.  95 Years of Aviation Excellence, the SAAF’s 95th birthday. 80 years of the Dakota in service of the SAAF. 75 years of the Harvard in service of the SAAF and with that the 25th anniversary of the Harvard Club of South Africa.
